Accessibility Statement

Seishinjuku New York wants everyone to be able to use this website, regardless of age or disability. In keeping with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we do

• Text and background colors meet the Level AA contrast ratio (at least 4.5:1).
• The button at the bottom right and the button at the top of the page change the text size (Standard, Large, Extra large). You can also turn on high contrast and underlined links.
• Pages remain readable when zoomed to 200% in the browser.
• Everything can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline. Each page starts with a "Skip to content" link.
• Headings, lists and form labels are marked up so screen readers can read them correctly.
• Japanese and English pages each declare their language.
• Images have text alternatives.
• Scrolling motion is reduced on devices set to reduce motion.

Known limitations

Some PDFs and images in older news posts were carried over from our previous website and may not be fully accessible to screen readers. If you need any of that content, contact us and we will provide it in another format.
