Profile of Fumiyuki Tadokoro:
Fumiyuki Tadokoro, born April 8, 1963
Born into a family that ran a small miso shop in Fukushima Prefecture; currently 55 years old.
After leaving university in his second year, he started businesses at age 21, including franchise ramen shops, izakaya pubs and restaurants, but went bankrupt at 35.
After five years as a company employee, he founded Try Co., Ltd. at age 40.
Under the banner "Miso is a treasure of the Japanese people," the company currently operates 107 stores in Japan and 15 overseas, a total of 122 stores including directly managed and franchise stores.
