October Monthly Study Meeting Scheduled for Thursday, 10/19

Hello everyone.

Here is the announcement for the next Seishinjuku New York monthly study meeting.

This month, 板垣 勝秀, a member of the Brazil chapter (President of PANAMEDICAL SISTEMAS LTDA), will give a presentation.

Thursday, October 19: monthly study meeting (Japan time: Friday, 10/20, 8:00 am to 10:00 am). As before, it will be held on Zoom.

1. Viewing of a video lecture by Chairman Inamori, approx. 40 minutes
2. Presenter: 1 person

19:15: Viewing of a video lecture by Chairman Inamori, from part of "Loving Your Work Is the Essence of Management"
"Wrestle in the center of the ring, so as to prevent failure before it happens"
"Set specific goals: desire intensely to achieve your goals without fail, and keep that desire in your heart"

** Opening ceremony of the Hakodate chapter, April 29, 1994 (Chairman Inamori, age 62)

19:55-20:25: Management experience presentation by member Itagaki (approx. 30 minutes)
Moderator: member 新谷

20:25-20:55: Q&A, approx. 30 minutes

20:55: End (10-minute break)

Social gathering, 21:05-22:00, moderator: member Kimijima

What is Seishinjuku New York?
Seishinjuku New York is an organization formed under a new name from Seiwajuku NY, a nonprofit organization that was dissolved at the end of 2019.
It traces its origins to Seiwajuku, a member-led study group that began in 1983 when young business owners in Kyoto gathered to learn from Kazuo Inamori, Chairman Emeritus of Kyocera Corporation, how to live as a human being [philosophy of life] and how to think as a business owner [management philosophy].
